It’s a great Halloween craft and fun activity that sparks creativity of all ages.

Supplies you will need for Magic Invisible Ink:
- water
- paintbrush
- foam paintbrush
- baking soda
- white cardstock
- Turmeric
- rubbing alcohol
This activity works best when done outside, since it can get a little messy and stain. Be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Magic Invisible Ink Instructions:
Here are the instructions to follow on how to make your own Magic Invisible Ink!
Step 1– Mix 1/2 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda in a bowl.
Step 2– Using your paintbrush, paint your picture onto the cardstock with the baking soda mixture.
Step 3– You must wait for the picture to dry completely, this will not work if it is still wet.
Step 4– Mix 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol and 1 teaspoon of ground Turmeric in a bowl.
Step 5– Use your foam paintbrush to reveal your hidden images!
Conclusion
This was so COOL! It was a big success at our house. My kids couldn’t get enough of this one and wanted to do more and more.
It works best for Fall and Halloween pictures since the Turmeric creates a yellow and orange color pallet. You can get as creative as you want!
