Spooky Season is upon us and who doesn’t love binge watching Hocus Pocus, am I right? I for one can’t wait for Fall to officially get here so I can transform my house into all things scary!
If you are having a Halloween party, these brownies are so easy to make. Or if you want to impress your kids that love the movie just as much as you do. Follow my step by step instructions below. Let’s get started.
INGREDIENTS:
- Chocolate Plain Brownies of your Choice
- Candy Eyes
- Black Decorating Writing Gel
DIRECTIONS:
Step One: Prepare your brownies (Make sure they are fully cooled). I used basic brownie mix and prepared according to package instructions. Cut the brownies in long rectangular squares. You are wanting to create a “book” shape.
Step Two: Using your black decorating gel pen draw a line down the left side of the brownie, followed by multiple vertical lines creating a “scar” like appearance.
Step Three: Put a small dot of gel pen on the upper right side of your brownie and place a candy eyeball right on top. The gel will hold the eyeball in place. Then using your gel, outline the eyeball with a black circle.
Storage:
Store your brownies in a cool place so the gel pen doesn’t melt, I kept mine in a plastic wrapped container in the refrigerator.
